Never have I been sooo excited about a few pieces of rubber! I haven’t really been able to ha my Singer, because the dang belt always slips. I ordered some from EBay, but it said they’d be here in March (insert frustrated eye roll here). Thankfully they came today!! I’m at home with Bubbers right now though, so machine time will have to wait.
It takes a village…
I’ve always heard the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”, and that could not be more true in my case. I can’t do night shifts due to suffering from Bipolar disorder. This means we hired a night nanny, who turned into a 24 hour care nanny for several weeks. I honestly don’t know how we would have made it without her! I mean in theory we could have, but I didn’t want to risk post partum depression if I didn’t have to. My family has been super amazing too! They’ve always been amazing at loving and supporting Josh and I throughout the years. It’s awesome to see the overflowing love that each family member has for Xander. I’m thankful everyday for the blessings God has given me!
I can’t wait to show y’all the project I’ve been so busy with! You’ll have to wait a bit longer though, because it’s still hush hush. I can say that my kitchen was turned into a factory yesterday! I got a lot of work done from home, again thanks to my “village”. I’ll be posting the big project once I’m cleared!
